Elapsed time

• The clock starts when you do and stops when you complete the final leg of your attempt.
  
  
• The clock continues to run for the entirety of your attempt between start and finish with no exceptions.
  
  
• Single-day attempts will be recorded down to the second - hh:mm:ss
  If you omit the seconds we may round up to the next minute.
  
  
• Multi-day attempts will be timed in calendar days.
  Paddling any part of a calendar day (defined as midnight to midnight) counts as an additional day.
  The first paddling day is Day 1.
  
  
• Multi-day attempts under 96 hrs may be recorded in hours rather than calendar days, depending on the route.
